Bio: Born in Chicago, Illinois and raised in suburban Chicago. Obtained a B.S. from Loyola University of Chicago, M.S. from Rosalind Franklin University in North Chicago, Illinois and M.D. from Loyola Stritch School of Medicine in Maywood, Illinois. Sponsored by the U.S.A.F for medical school. Developed a passion for radiology while in graduate school for medical physics. Performed an internship in Internal Medicine and residency in Diagnostic Radiology and served four years as faculty at the 59th Medical Wing, Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. Recipient of the Air Force Achievement Medal. Served two years as faculty at the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston, Texas. Awarded teacher of the year by the radiology residents at UTMB in 1998. Working in private practice in Houston, Texas since June, 1999. Married with one son and three grandchildren. Parishioner at St. Laurence in Sugar Land, Texas. Enjoys anything related to medicine, science or science fiction.
