Bio: I was born and raised in Houston. I previously practiced in Oklahoma City and then moved to Dallas for my Breast Imaging fellowship. After completing my fellowship, my wife and I moved to Houston to be closer to family.
Being a physician was a profession I chose after spending a lot of time exploring other aspects of medicine during high school and college. Once in medical school, I thought I wanted to be a general surgeon. However after the surgery clerkship, I realized it just wasn’t the right fit for me. I stumbled upon radiology during an elective and came across the happiest physicians I had ever met. I enjoyed seeing their knowledge base in action and how they were a consultant utilized by everyone. Right then, I knew I found my niche. After practicing for a few years, my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer which led to me going back to complete a Breast Imaging fellowship and focus solely on breast cancer detection.
I’m a big movie buff so I enjoy watching all kinds of flicks, especially sci-fi. My wife and I have a daughter who is very active, so we spend a lot of time on various activities for her. We also spend time visiting family and grandparents.
